Macquarrie Corporation was awarded with The Kangan Institute Lean Implementation Award for 2011 at the Kangan Technical Group Gala Dinner held on September 1st.

This award is in recognition of the programs and processes put in place as part of the Certificate IV in Competitive Manufacturing Course undertaken by our Manufacturing Team this year.

Lean Manufacturing is a variation on the theme of efficiency based on optimizing flow; increasing efficiency, and decreasing waste. The implementation of these methods has already assisted us to improve efficiencies in the department.
